Return, Refund & Warranty Policy – Richard Rider
Our Promise to You
At Richard Rider, we stand behind the quality of every electric scooter and e-bike we offer. If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 30 days from the date of delivery. All returned items must be unused, undamaged, and include all original packaging, tags, and labels.
We also provide a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty on items that are found to be defective due to production faults.
30-Day Return Policy – No Questions Asked
If you’re not happy with your order for any reason, you can request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. To qualify:
- The item must be unused and in original condition
- All packaging, tags, and accessories must be intact
- The product must be returned in its original box
📦 Return Shipping:
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
💰 Refund Process:
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll issue a partial refund (minus any shipping fees) to your original payment method within 3 business days.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
Please email us at 📧 support@richardrider.com with the following:
- Reason for return or exchange
- Order number
- Photos or videos of the product (if defective or incorrect)
After approval, we’ll provide the return address. We may ask for tracking details once the item is shipped back.
Return Shipping Responsibility
- If the return is due to customer preference (change of mind, wrong size, etc.), the customer bears the shipping cost.
- If the return is due to a faulty or incorrect product, Richard Rider will cover the return shipping fee.
Order Cancellations
Before Shipment (within 24 hours):
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placement for a full refund.

After Shipment (after 24 hours):
You may cancel your order by refusing the delivery. Once the item is returned to us, a refund minus shipping charges will be issued.
Returns & Exchanges – Common Scenarios
🛠️ Defective or Faulty Products
If your item appears defective, contact us before returning it.
We’ll either send a replacement or issue a full refund.
📦 Wrong Item Received
If we shipped you the wrong item, you may:
- Keep it and receive a partial refund, or
- Return it for a replacement at no cost to you
Contact us with order info and images at support@richardrider.com.
🚚 Item Damaged in Transit
If your package is visibly damaged upon arrival, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
Alternatively, submit a damage claim with photos/video to support@richardrider.com. A replacement or refund will be processed after we confirm with the shipping carrier.
📬 Lost or Missing Package
If your order hasn’t arrived and tracking shows an issue, contact us with your order number and tracking ID.
We will open a claim with the courier. Please allow up to 7 business days for resolution.
Warranty Coverage & Exemptions
All products include a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against production-related defects.
❌ Not Covered:
- Wear and tear from regular use
- Accidental or intentional damage
- Damage due to misuse or unauthorized modifications
- Incorrect use or improper storage
If a product is misused or altered, the warranty is void.
However, you can purchase replacement parts or components. We will charge only for the parts and applicable shipping.
Filing a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please email us with the following details:
- Your full order number
- A description of the issue – what happened and when
- Steps you’ve taken to resolve it
- Product code (found on packaging)
- Photos or video clearly showing the defect
